Heythrop Hall in Oxfordshire provided a wonderful backdrop to the BCS primary healthcare specialist group conference held this July. Running for two days over the 5th and 6th of the month, the conference was let down by the weather but still proved to be a good event all round.

Instead of sending a delegate, we chose to exhibit this year, focusing on Evolution and the latest projects and products including our Connecting for Health modules.

The attendance was the usual interesting mixture of industry and end-users yet the stream sessions didn't fail to excite. GP2GP and QMAS were on the agenda, as were SNOWMED and a rather spirited discussion regarding the relationship between GPs and Connecting for Health.

Microtest were represented this year by Clinical Sales Manager Mike Colwill (illustrated left) and myself, Tim Robinson.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the next conference on 'the circuit', Clinical Information Systems, Electronic Records and eHealth (September 26-28, London West Convention Centre) or at the Microtest Portsmouth Roadshow at the end of July.
